ArizonaNativeNet

ArizonaNativeNet is a virtual university outreach and distance learning telecommunications center devoted to the higher educational needs of Native Nations in Arizona, the United States and the world through the utilization of the worldwide web and the knowledge-based and technical resources and expertise of the University of Arizona.

ArizonaNativeNet is a vital resource for Native Nations seeking to strengthen their nation-building efforts through telecommunications-based higher education, leadership and management training, and distance learning programs offered by the University of Arizona.

The site features breaking news, simulcasts and videotaped lectures, workshops and conferences, along with up-to-date research, analyses, and resources on Native Nations governance, law, health, education, language, and culture. The site is designed for use by tribal leaders, policymakers, students, educators, media, and the general public.

ArizonaNativeNet is developed and produced by The University of Arizona through a multi-unit, inter-disciplinary partnership led by three of the university’s most-highly regarded Native American programs, the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management and Policy at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy, the Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office, and the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program at the James E. Rogers College of Law.
